Based on a painstaking investigation, this fascinating and powerful documentary pieces together the story of Monsanto, a corporation with a controversial past (they created some of the most toxic products ever sold, including the herbicide Agent Orange which was use in the Vietnam war by the U.S. military in its herbicidal warfare program) and today's leader in genetically modified crops. Monsanto claims it wants to solve world hunger and protect the environment, but its quest for market supremacy is to the detriment of global food security and environmental stability.
This screening is being held with the Highland and Islands Organic Association.
