Following its triumphant autumn season, Rambert, Britain’s premier contemporary dance company, is bringing 22 of the world’s finest and most versatile dancers to Inverness.
Emotional, touching and adored by audiences across the UK, Eternal Light is a major new collaboration between Artistic Director Mark Baldwin and popular composer Howard Goodall. Set to a sensational and elegiac score, this dazzling new work is played live by London Musici and features the National Youth Choir of Scotland. Sumptuous designs from production designer Michael Howells feature sparkling
crystals donated by Swarovski and striking head-dresses from fashion milliner Stephen Jones.
The performance also includes the classic and dramatic Swansong from renowned British choreographer Christopher Bruce, and Siobhan Davies’ gorgeous and endearing Carnival of the Animals, set to Saint-Saens’ melodic music of the same name.
