Finbar Furey's big break came in 1972 courtesy of the legendary DJ, John Peel, who voted he and his brother his ‘act of the year’. Their phenomenal sound was a brand new combination of Irish (Uillean) Pipes with Guitar and voice... almost 40 years later and the ex-lead singer of the Fureys is still blazing a trail around the world!
