Alongside favourite carols and beautiful choral arrangements that evoke every sparkling aspect of Christmas, there will be audience carols, virtuoso brass music, a silly competition and a few surprises including some specially written poems about gifts and giving by Alexander McCall Smith, set to music by Tom Cunningham. The glorious voices of virtuoso singers combine in an exquisite sequence, from medieval carols to close-harmony Christmas songs, to help you get the festive season truly started.
