Love is most definitely going to be in the air at Eden Court this panto time – when unsuspecting gentlemen in the audience will be taking to the stage as a stooge!
Eden Court bosses are calling on the ladies of Inverness to nominate their husband, boyfriend, dad or brother to play a vital role in this year’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk – the beautiful Dame’s boyfriend!
This year’s fun-filled festive adventure of Jack and the Beanstalk will be a magical show that the whole family will love. It stars kids’ TV favourite Katrina Bryan from CBeebies Nina and the Neurons and creator of the Tweenies, Iain Lauchlan, who is playing the simply delicious Dame Trot!
Iain Lauchlan, aka Dame Trot, said: “I can’t wait to take to the stage and play the fabulous Dame Trot as she is a fantastically funny character! I really want to encourage all the ladies out there to nominate the special gent in their lives, as taking to the stage as the stooge is great fun and the audience love it!”
Steve Boden, producer of the show and chief mirth-maker at Imagine Theatre, said: “This year’s production at Eden Court is Imagine’s first and we promise it is going to be the ultimate Christmas treat for mums, dads, kids and even grannies!
“During each performance will be one rather messy scene for the ladies in the audience to get their own back on that special man in their lives, and we are looking for victims for every show!”
