SCOTTISH BALLET - THE SLEEPING BEAUTY

Swoon to Scottish Ballet’s blissful new version of the classic fairy story The Sleeping Beauty which combines wonderful ballet, lavish costumes and sets and an enchanting score by Tchaikovsky performed live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra.

Princess Aurora is born into a magical world where mortals mix with the fairies at the royal baby’s christening. Enraged that she was not invited, a jealous fairy curses Aurora to prick her finger and die on her 16th birthday. The Lilac Fairy’s spell manages to save the innocent child by sending her into a deep slumber, but she can only be woken by a truelove kiss.
