John Batty
Resident Drama Artist at Eden Court

John has worked at Eden Court for over 12 years, developing and delivering drama for all ages.

John’s Eden Court classes are usually Adult Drama Lab, Antix Youth Theatre and the Integrated Drama Group. Other regular drama classes at Eden Court include Drama for 5 -8 year olds , 9-12’s, Musical Theatre for 9-12’s and 13-17’s.

John also assists with LAMDA Graded drama exam preparation classes, and SQA Intermediate 2 and Higher Drama. On occasions he also directs professional performances for the theatre and oversees and produces school tours.

John is responsible for developing partnership educational projects which involve producing themed educational plays, films as a teaching resource and providing role-play actors for corporate training and other applications.
